Stuffed Animal Sleepover & Storytime in the La Mesa Village

Ditch your devices for a truly unique event! On Friday evening, drop off your toy animal, action figure or doll for a fun sleepover adventure (sorry sleepover part is for toys only). Make a snowflake, and a matching wrist band for you and your toy so we make sure you are reunited the next day. Drop off is anytime from 3-6:30 pm. Note there is a farmers market that goes on then as well so plan a little extra time to locate parking and then stay and enjoy the market. It really is a vibrant market and if you keep your eyes pealed you might even spot Rodney Rooster (a stuffed animal) that hides at one of the vendor booths each week. Spot him and you get a prize.

Come back Saturday morning at 9 am to hear and see pics about the toys night-time shenanigans as they came to life in the store! Enjoy a quick craft and PJ storytime featuring the award-winning book, Look Up! Fontaine the Pigeon Starts a Revolution by Britt Gondolfi and Amanda Romanick.

This event on Saturday lasts 1 hour. Recommended for ages 3-8, but all are welcome. Registration is required and first 20 kids to register get a free SmartPhone Nap-Sack with nightime goodies to take home!
