Stuffed Animal Adoption Day

Kids will have the chance to “adopt” their very own plush pet, choosing either a dog or cat from Teddy Bear Mobile. This is a drop-in style event, so families are welcome to stop by anytime during event hours to participate at their own pace. After selecting their new furry friend, young adopters will complete our Adoption Academy, where Atlanta Humane staff and volunteers will teach the basics of responsible pet care and what it means to be a great pet parent.

Each child will receive an adoption certificate to celebrate their new companion and officially complete the adoption process. Light snacks and beverages will be available for participants.
