Help us fill an NKC Schools bus with school supplies!
Stop by the Gladstone Walmart anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7. Shop for the supplies our schools need most, then bring your donation to the NKC Schools bus outside the store.
More than half of NKC Schools students qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Financial need should never keep a student from being ready to learn, thrive or feel like they belong. Together, we can help students across our district begin the school year prepared, confident and included.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED
• Backpacks
• 1-inch three-ring binders with clear plastic covers
• Five-count binder divider tabs
• Wide-rule notebook paper
• Plastic pocket folders with prongs
• 24-count crayons
• Pink erasers
• Plastic school boxes
• Washable thick markers in classic colors
• No. 2 pencils
• Facial tissues
• Earbuds or headphones for iPad use
• Glue sticks
• 8-ounce bottles of school glue
• Composition notebooks
• 5-inch pointed scissors
