This focused Study Circle explores the principles of advanced aesthetic and restorative dentistry, supporting clinicians in refining their approach to smile design, indirect restorations, and temporisation.

Led by Dr Karim Rachidi and Dr Ali Altaf, the session will provide valuable clinical insights into contemporary restorative workflows, combining aesthetic planning principles with practical techniques to achieve predictable, high-quality outcomes. Delegates will explore the importance of comprehensive smile design, including digital and analogue planning concepts, aesthetic analysis, and translating treatment objectives into effective clinical execution.

The Study Circle will include practical Smile Cloud exercises, focusing on tooth preparation from 3–3, alongside hands-on guidance in indirect restorations to enhance confidence in preparation principles, material considerations, and restorative planning.

A dedicated focus will also be placed on temporisation, with delegates gaining practical experience in creating accurate and aesthetic provisional restorations that support predictable restorative outcomes and effective communication throughout the treatment journey.

The session will also highlight the importance of collaboration between clinicians and specialist dental laboratories, featuring insights from Luxe Dental Lab — the UK’s first Straumann Excellence Lab — and demonstrating how strong clinician–technician communication plays a vital role in achieving exceptional aesthetic results.

Through expert-led teaching, interactive discussion, and hands-on learning, delegates will refine their restorative decision-making, clinical techniques, and understanding of modern aesthetic workflows, empowering them to deliver confident, predictable, and patient-focused outcomes in practice.
