About this Event
Northern Vocational School of Performing Arts is a specialist vocational day school for students in Years 5–9, built around high-quality training in dance, drama and singing.
Created for young performers who want to take their training further, NVS offers focused professional tuition in ballet, tap, modern, jazz, commercial, lyrical, street, musical theatre, drama and singing, alongside real performance opportunities and recognised examinations.
Students attend every Friday from 8:45am–3:30pm, alongside their existing mainstream school or home education.
NVS is designed to complement, not replace, students’ training at their chosen dance school, giving them additional hours to develop their skills while continuing to learn and perform within their current school.
There is nothing else like this in the Bolton area solely dedicated to vocational dance and musical theatre training. NVS gives talented, committed young people the chance to develop their technique, confidence and performance skills in an inspiring environment, without stepping away from their current education or training.
Our Open Evening takes place on Friday 4th September, giving prospective students and their families the opportunity to explore the studios, meet the faculty, take part in a taster class and learn more about the programme.
Audition Day: Sunday 27th September, following a successful initial video submission.
