From Farm to Pantry – Let’s Preserve It!
Empower your child with lifelong skills in food preservation! In this camp, we’ll explore traditional methods of saving food, from canning and pickling to drying and fermenting. Campers will get hands-on experience turning fresh produce into pantry staples while learning about the importance of reducing food waste.
Activities Include:
Canning Fruits & Veggies
Pickling & Fermenting Basics
Dehydrating Herbs & Fruits
Creating Custom Spice Blends

What to Bring:
Lunch and snacks
Refillable water bottle
Clothes that can get messy
Closed-toe shoes
