//وقت الستوديو: معرض//يسرّنا دعوتكم لافتتاح معرض «وقت الستوديو» يوم الثلاثاء القادم 24 فبراير 2026 الساعة 8 مساءً، بمقر كايرو جاليري في 11 شارع الكامل محمد، متفرع من شارع 26 يوليو، الزمالك، القاهرة، شقة رقم 3، الـدور الأرضي.
أنكتب أحلامنا بينما نمشي في الشوارع؟ مشاركات عن الخيال الجمعي، والوجدان الشخصي والتدخلات القدرية، والعلاقة بين ما هو طقسي أو وظيفي أو مشهدي، ومتى يتحول الرمز لأيقونة؟ يشغلنا أكثر من حيز من الخيال في آن واحد، تتكشف وترتبط بالعمل والتعلم سويًا، إذ تنسج المعارف فرص للرسم من جديد.
تنطلق ورشة «وقت الستوديو» من الاهتمام بالمحادثات حول التصوير الزيتي ومن فكرة بسيطة عن مشاركة الفنانين لعملهم في سياقات ودية وجادة. في 7 جلسات، شارك أحمد حسام، ربى خضر، عمر حجازي، روان الديب، فيروز الطويلة، صبري شمس الدين في تأويل منهج مقترح. كان لكل جلسة سؤال بحثي ومجموعة قراءات عن الممارسة الفنية والسياق المحيط بها سياسيًا واجتماعيًا واقتصاديًا، إلى جانب الوسيط كتقنية وأداة. شاركتنا أيضًا الباحثة هدى ذكري مقترح عما نحتاجه في مساحة الستوديو وماذا تعني لنا؟
بدأ التفكير في وسيط التصوير الزيتي والفن التشكيلي من خلال أسئلة فرضية عن أزمنة الفن الحديث في مصر، وبتتبع الخط الزمني وصولًا لأثره على الممارسات الحالية. تتأمل الأعمال في هذا المعرض انشغالات عدة حول ظروف ومسارات الإنتاج والعرض، وأين نذهب عندما نذهب للستوديو ومن نلقى هناك؟
يمتد المعرض يوميًا حتى 12 مارس 2026، قبل الإفطار من الساعة 12 ظهرًا حتى 4 عصرًا وبعد الإفطار من الساعة 8 مساءً حتى 11 مساءً (المعرض مغلق أيام الجمعة).

We are delighted to invite you to the opening of «Studio Hours» exhibition this coming Tuesday, February 24th, 2026 at 8:00 PM at Cairo Gallery: 11 El Kamel Mohamed Street, off 26th of July Street, Zamalek, Cairo, Apt No. 3, Ground Floor
Do we write our dreams while we walk the streets? Contributions on collective imaginaries, personal sentiment and destiny interventions, and the relationship between the ritual, the function, and the spectacle, when does a symbol become an icon? We dwell in multiple realms of imagination at the same time, and they reveal themselves through working and learning together; and knowledge becomes a chance to paint again.
«Studio Hours» workshop started from an interest in conversations on painting, coupled with the simple idea of painters sharing their work in friendly and committed settings. Over seven sessions, Ahmed Hossam, Roba Khedr, Omar Hegazy, Rowan Aldib, Fairouz Eltaweela, and Sabri Shams Al-din collaborated on interpreting a suggested curriculum. Each session had a research question and collection of readings on practice and context (political, social, or economic) in addition to the medium as technique and tool. Researcher Huda Zikry contributed a prompt on what we could possibly need in a studio, and what does it mean to us?
Thinking of painting and fine arts started from rhetorical questions on modern art times in Egypt, and followed a timeline that led to current practices. The artworks in this exhibition contemplate various interests in the conditions and routes of production and showing, where do we go when we go to the studio, and who do we meet there?
The exhibition runs daily until March 12, 2026 before Iftar from 12 PM to 4 PM, and after Iftar from 8 PM to 11 PM (the gallery is closed on Fridays)
