ضمن سياق برنامج "(اسم مؤقت)" يسعدنا الإعلان عن سلسلة لقاءات تقام خلال شهر رمضان، تستضيف صناع أفلام يشاركون مسودات ونسخ عمل من أفلام مكتملة، أو مشاريع لم تعد في حيز التنفيذ.
تجمع هذه الأعمال نقطة انطلاق مشتركة: وهي تقفي أثر حدث، شعور، أو خيال متراكم. ومن خلال تنوع الأساليب واختلاف سياقات الإنتاج، نتتبع عبر أربع جلسات مسارات هذه المشاريع، واللحظات الفارقة التي شكلتها أو أوقفتها، كيف بحث صناعها عن لغاتهم السينمائية، وكيف اختبروا النجاح أو الفشل، لنُشكّل رؤية جديدة حول تلك الأفلام بالنظر إليها في ضوء ما سبق.

“اسم مؤقت” هو برنامج لقاءات دورية لعرض مسودات من أفلام مكتملة، يتبعها مناقشة مع صناع الأفلام. انطلاقًا من رؤية للفيلم كوسيط ممتد غير متمحور حول المنتج النهائي، يعود البرنامج بالزمن لزيارة لحظة محددة في حياة الفيلم، لنقتطعها من سياقها الأوسع، حتى تصبح فرصة لنتأمل الاحتمالات، الآمال، والمخاوف الكامنة بها.

In Retrospect (Working Title)
A series of consecutive Monday gatherings during Ramadan
Within the context of the “(Working Title)” program, we are pleased to announce a series of gatherings taking place throughout Ramadan. The gatherings host filmmakers showcasing drafts from completed films, or projects that are no longer in progress.
These works share a common point of departure: tracing the aftermath of an event, a feeling, or an accumulated imagination. Through diverse approaches and varying production contexts, the four sessions will follow the trajectories of these projects and the turning points that shaped or halted them, how their makers searched for their cinematic language, and how they encountered success or failure, shaping a renewed way of looking at these films from a retrospective lens.

“Working Title” is a recurring program of gatherings that showcase drafts from completed films, or projects that are no longer in progress.
Rooted in the view of film as an extended medium rather than one oriented solely toward the final product, each gathering revisits a specific moment in the life of a film, one suspended between process and resolution.
