met in Glasgow in 2011 and since then have gone on to support
such luminaries as George Clinton, De La Soul, The Jacksons, Dj
Jazzy Jeff, David Rodigan, Chali 2na Of Jurassic 5, Craig Charles,
Joey Negro, Mr Scruff, The Reflex & The Cuban Brothers.
Their eclectic sets fuse and draw on many influences..
From funk, Soul & hip-hop to boogie, disco & house all expertly mixed with
turntable trickery and tight, live percussion…
Complementing their live show, ‘SLY’ also release their own
material with equal acclaim..
Their music gains regular support from BBC Radio 2 & BBC 6 music & has also attracted the attention of Mixmag, Dj Mag, Ministry Of Sound & the Defected ‘Glitterbox’ Radio Show..
‘SLY’ have their very own compilation series Joints n’ Jams with
regular collaborators Bombstrikes records…
Always looking to build - they then launched the Joints n’ Jams radio show,
livestream & club residency - a monthly dive into the hottest custom SLY crates.
They have also featured in national newspapers & magazine newspapers…
