Studio 18 presents ‘A License to Dance’ - a New year’s eve get your dance shoes on shakedown! Nicky Blackmarket along with the audacious Millz are back with a bang to bring in the new year with a party not to forget. Alongside we’ll have Konetix, DJ Instinct, Jimkum and Darius Akashic with a special rip down from Rudi&Blythe.
As well as bringing in the new year, we at the Studios haven even more reason to celebrate this year - after much work, we've been granted a most deserved premise license. After nearly 8 years of intense sweaty work and the occasional tear, as well as amazing and life affirming experiences, we’ve become an official arts and music venue!
We weren’t sure if our license was coming through for NYE but we had to roll and give it our all. A very nervy moment and great roll of the dice which has resulted in our latest night yet, as it should be for an NYE celebration. Our goal was to make improvements to the building and curate a special event in anticipation. Most specifically an install of an in-house Funktion-One Soundsystem concentrating on fidelity and a sound experience hard to match, that’s before we even get to our outrageously incredible and expensive line up. Just a heads up though, tickets are very limited and it will be hard to get in on the door but not impossible. So get Down and celebrate and bring in a new era at Studio 18!
