This year's Student Sendoff and Alumni Picnic is Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 1 P.M. at Jim and Katheryn Driscoll's home in Middletown, DE. Help us welcome the class of 2030 into the Hokie family! All are invited!
Event Details:
🎉 Join us to send-off our new First State Hokies to Blacksburg!
🍴 The chapter will provide burgers, hot dogs, rolls, and water. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share if you're able.
😎 Every student receives custom Virginia Tech swag!
🧡 Incoming students, families, and alumni are all invited to attend!
🎟️ Incoming and current Virginia Tech students attend for free; non-students and children 11-and-older are $10 per guest.
🎁 Optional Gift Opportunity: We have provided an option to make a gift at check-out for those who would like to contribute. All gifts will benefit the First State Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund for regional students heading to Blacksburg!
