Student Organization Leadership Experience 2026
About this Event
Step into the Lion's Den.
S.O.L.E. 2026 — the Student Organization Leadership Experience — is Southeastern Louisiana University's premier leadership conference for student organization officers, FSL members, and emerging campus leaders. This year's theme, Leadership & Legacy, challenges you to think beyond your term, your title, and your tenure. What will you build that lasts?
When: Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday, August 28, 2026 at 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Who: Active RSO members, FSL students, and any Lion ready to lead with purpose
Over two days, you'll be sorted into one of four leadership houses — Valor, Lumina, Fortis, or Nexus — each representing a core pillar of legacy-driven leadership. You'll compete, collaborate, and connect with peers from across campus while sharpening the skills that take your organization (and your future) to the next level.
What you'll gain:
- Practical leadership frameworks you can apply immediately
- Event planning and organizational management strategies from professionals in the field
- Networking with student leaders across RSOs and FSL chapters
- House-based competition, recognition, and bragging rights
- Tools, templates, and takeaways to carry back to your org
What's included:
- Two-day conference access
- All meals and refreshments
- Conference swag and house gear
- Certificate of completion
This isn't a sit-and-listen conference. S.O.L.E. is built for leaders who want to do the work, find their people, and leave a mark that outlasts their time at Southeastern.
Secure your spot — space is limited.
Attendance Requirement for Organizations
Beginning this year, attendance at S.O.L.E. will be mandatory for all registered student organizations.
Each organization must send at least two executive board members to attend.
Please note:
- Attendees do not have to specifically be your president, vice president, treasurer, or secretary. Any two executive board members may represent your organization.
- We understand many students serve in multiple organizations. If a student is representing more than one organization, they may represent a maximum of two organizations during the training.
- This is because it is essential that attendees return to their organizations prepared to educate and inform the rest of their executive board on the information covered.
