Registration for the conference is free. Please indicate on the registration form whether you plan to attend in-person or virtually.
The goal of the Student Journal Symposium is to create community and dialogue with student-led journals on areas of common concern and interest. We welcome speakers from literary, research, specialized, and law journals at the undergraduate and graduate level to the symposium, including students, faculty, administrators, librarians and others involved and interested in student journals.
At the 2nd annual Symposium, we heard from 73 representatives from 34 undergraduate and graduate student journals from 28 universities in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. See the schedule, presentation and panel recordings, and slides on the 2025 Student Journal Symposium website.
We encourage you to speak and attend in person, if possible. We are unable to defray travel expenses and recommend you inquire with your university for travel support funding. Presenters and attendees can also participate virtually.
Attendance (in person and virtual) to the conference will be free-of-charge; pre-registration is required. Lunch will be provided to in-person attendees, and a social hour is planned to follow the conference.
