Strung Up: A New Puppet Musical

This performance will be a staged reading of an original musical by LaF founders, Landon Dueck and Kay Snell.
Sypnosis: At the strange and unsettling Pantheon Circus, the slogan is "Face Your Fear." But behind the curtains, every performer is running from something.
Briar, the Ringmaster's son, longs to inherit the family business, but a crushing fear of the spotlight stands in his way. When the circus's central act is suddenly up for grabs, Briar sees his chance to finally prove himself through an imaginative puppetry show. But like every attempt before it, this one is on track to fall apart.
In a moment of reckless desperation, Briar accidentally summons a demon. Now he’s stuck with Maverick, a loudmouthed demonic duck determined to help him get everything he's ever wanted, whether Briar wants the help or not. As he struggles to keep his new sidekick under control, "fowl" play spreads through the circus, and he discovers he isn't the only performer with a demon by his side.
Come hell or high water, Briar is determined to make the whole circus love him and his puppet show.
