Strummer Room Records Presents... Voodoo Rays / Alto AltoUnfortunately, The Plan & Tea Vision have had to postpone their performances at the Tap. We hope to reschedule this one for later in the year.
PROJECT OVERLOAD play “bright janglepop with sharp elbows”. compared to the Primitives, Young Marble Giants, the Sundays and Blondie, with influences from Blur, Declan McKenna, Jamie T, Peach Fuzz, Sabrina Carpenter, Slowdive and Two Door Cinema Club.
ALTO ALTO is a fresh musical project emerging from Oxford, with a driving, energetic, and dynamic sound. With a passion for creating something new, Alto Alto pushes in bold, unexpected directions, leaving behind familiar ground to explore new musical horizons. The band has gained significant recognition, having played at the Truck Festival, showcasing their vibrant live energy. Their single "Broken Fin" was featured on BBC Introducing in Oxford, further highlighting their growing presence in the music scene. Alto Alto has also performed at notable venues such as the Dublin Castle in London and the O2 Academy in Oxford, cementing their reputation as an exciting act to watch.
