🏌️ About the Event
Family and friends — we’re back for the 4th Annual Struggle Bus Golf Outing!
As our outing continues to grow, we’re always looking for ways to improve the experience. This year, we’re introducing a Shotgun Start. That means everyone tees off at the same time from different holes and finishes around the same time — making it easier for all players to stick around afterward for the awards ceremony and to celebrate together.
👉 To make this possible, we’ll have a firm sign-up deadline required by the course. A minimum of 18 teams is needed; otherwise, we’ll return to the traditional start format from past years.
Join us at Bonnie Brook Golf Course in Waukegan, IL for a fun-filled scramble, exciting on-course contests, and some ridiculous challenges! The course features a full bar, restaurant, practice greens, and a driving range. Club rentals are also available upon request.
We can’t wait to see everyone back on the course — good luck and have fun!

⛳ Four-Person Scramble Rules
All four players tee off.
The team chooses the best shot; all play from that spot.
Repeat until the hole is finished.
Record the team score for each hole.
Additional Rules:
2-foot gimmes are allowed.
1 club-length relief (no closer to the hole) through the green.
Max bogey per hole.
Ties decided by lowest score on the #1 handicap hole.

Closest to the Pin
Must land on the green.
Write your name on the marker card at your ball’s spot.
Use the flagstick to measure close calls.

Longest Drive
Must be in the fairway.
Mark your shot with the provided card & stake.

🎲 Challenges
One Club — Everybody Knows the Rules:
Each player selects only one club for the entire hole.
No duplicates within the group.
Life’s a Gamble:
Roll the dice to determine which tee box you’ll use.
Whip It Real Good:
Tee off using the wobble club — a hilariously unstable training club.
Each player must use it for their first shot.
Leave it on the tee box when finished.
