About this Event

The Homeschool Art Club is a structured, skill-building art program designed for kids ages 7–11. While the curriculum is designed with this age range in mind, there is no strict age limit—older and younger students are welcome, with simple modifications made to fit each artist’s needs and abilities.

You do not need to be homeschooled to join this class. All students are welcome in this creative learning environment.

This session focuses on the Elements of Art, helping students build a strong foundation in artistic thinking, technique, and creative expression. Each week explores a different core concept through engaging, hands-on projects:

Students will explore ideas such as line and movement, color and contrast, texture and pattern, space and proportion, form and balance, value and emphasis, shape and unity, variety, rhythm, and transformation through guided, age-appropriate projects that build skills over time.

Each class combines instruction, experimentation, and creativity—allowing students to grow in confidence while exploring different materials, techniques, and ways of thinking like an artist.

This is a fun, structured, and supportive environment where learning art feels engaging, hands-on, and meaningful.
