Structural Yoga - a classical hatha yoga style
Learn how to adapt yoga poses to your individual needs. Become more reliant and respectful of your body's innate capacity for safe healthy movement and healing. This style invites you to find your body's optimal way of moving and building strength without the use of many props or hands-on corrections that might hinder self-awareness and the slow careful development of the muscle structures needed to develop a full yoga practice. You will hear Mary cue with anatomical focus at times so you become aware of which muscles should be felt as stretching/releasing or contracting/strengthening.

Mary is a Structural Yoga Therapist. Appointments are also available for one-on-one sessions to address chronic conditions of discomfort and to receive instruction for a home practice to alleviate symptoms.
