Stronger Walks Recovery Walk 2026: Community, Connection & Recovery
About this Event
Join us for a free community walk celebrating recovery, connection and wellbeing.
Whether you're in recovery from addiction, supporting someone who is, interested in learning more, or simply looking to meet new people and enjoy an active summer afternoon, we'd love you to join us.
This relaxed, family-friendly event brings people together to walk, connect and celebrate community. You can take part in the whole journey or simply join us for the sections that suit you.
The Route
4:00pm – Café Sobar
Start the afternoon with coffee, cake and conversation.
5:00pm – Nottingham Arboretum
We'll walk together to the Arboretum for ice cream, games and activities. There will be children's entertainment, opportunities to meet new people, and a gentle Tai Chi session focused on mindfulness and wellbeing.
6:30pm – New Art Exchange
Our final walk takes us through the Forest Recreation Ground to New Art Exchange for food, music and celebration.
