Stronger together - Workshop for SEND parents
About this Event
There are two things every parent of a neurodivergent child needs, and most support only ever gives you one.
The support for children is often there but the parents are mainly left forgotten, depleted and in a constant state of mental exhaustion.
These 4 hours of invaluable content are designed to help parents find their own sense of self, build the capacity to handle every day and still have something left to be them. It is full of support and tools to help you navigate caring for your SEND children, and to look after your own wellbeing in the process.
Zeta's spent 17 years inside the system — EHCPs, transitions, the forms that overwhelm even the most capable parent. Radka's spent hers learning what actually happens in your body when your child dysregulates, and why staying calm on paper is nothing like staying calm in the room.
Two 90-minute workshops:
one to help you make sense of what is happening inside of you and equip you with tools to develop resilience,
one to equip you with practical tools to advocate for your children, understand their needs and create a nurturing home environment.
