Stronger Together Coaching Conference 2025

British Weight Lifting is delighted to launch a coaching conference dedicated to helping coaches cultivate their ability to develop competitive athletes with a passion for lifting.

In a world where knowledge is freely accessible online, we bring you the opportunity to gain wisdom in person from champions and those who have coached them and also to have face-to-face discussions with other coaches.

As we build up to the Stronger Together Conference those who have selected “keep me updated” will be invited to attend one off live podcasts with British Weightlifting’s Performance team to have their questions answered.

You will also be the first to find out who our confirmed speakers are for 18th January in Warwickshire.

The first Stronger Together Conference was a massive success, with coaches moving away from arguments about technique to instead pick up the question of how we coach long-term performance development? Our speakers Danny Lennon, Spencer Arnold, Zoe Smith Chris Murray and Giles Greenwood stole the show. The second one is going to be even better as we again bring some of the most experienced people on the planet to ask hard questions about performance.

Here are a few clues as to who our confirmed speakers are:

One has an Olympic medal .

One has coached at Olympic level and is known all over the world in CrossFit and weightlifting circles.

One has competed in World's Strongest Man.

One has a decade of experience in behaviour change in powerlifting and a PhD.

One has a PhD in physiological rate limiting factors of cell growth and now works with elite Olympic weightlifters.
