Not for profit organisations, community groups and sporting clubs are invited to attend this free workshop as part of the Stronger Communities Workshop series.
Think being on a Management Committee is all tea, biscuits and cutting ribbons? Think again. This fun and informative workshop peels back the curtain on what it really means to sit on a Board or Committee.
We'll dive into the legal duties you must know, the practical responsibilities that keep things ticking, and what’s expected of Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers (spoiler alert: it’s more than just holding the title). Whether you’re a seasoned office-bearer or freshly roped in at the last AGM, you’ll leave this session clearer, more confident, and with a few good laughs along the way.
