Are you worn down from trying to be strong through difficulties, pain, and life in general? Join us as we discuss “Strong Like Water”, a book by Aundi Kolber, a Christian trauma therapist. Strength can be soft and bold, fierce and gentle like a tide, or it can leave us feeling exhausted and burned out. The book discusses different types of strength, the effects of trauma, and how we can operate from strength not by striving or avoiding but by being present and supporting our God-designed bodies and nervous systems. Our bodies are part of what make us human, and God loves and inhabits our bodies! Please purchase a copy of “Strong Like Water” by Aundi Kolber and bring it with you. You do not need to do any reading for the first meeting. Hope to have you join us!

This will be an 11-week book discussion beginning Thursday, May 30th through August 8th. Due to the July 4th holiday, we will decide as a group, if/when we will reschedule. The value of this group book discussion is $95.00, we will accept any amount with a $10 minimum.
