A Blink is a 30-second poem – a super-quick algorithm to run with words. BUT it’s written and performed by a human. It’s the in-verse of AI verse!
The Blinks is:
A challenge – to create a poem to perform in 30 seconds, MAX!
Anything but programmatic. Blinks can be snaps of fun, or searing. They can be sad, inspiring, or silly! Whatever tickles your neural nets.
Invented and presented by the Stroll of Poets at the Edmonton Poetry Festival for 20 years.
The rules are easy:
Sign up in advance by sending an email to [email protected]. We'll send you more detailed information.
Prepare your 30 second poem - rhyme, rap or haiku. You can't go over 30 seconds or the Blinks Philharmonic will drown you out.
