Green Drinks has exciting News!
As of April 14th, Green Drinks will be hosted by EPIC Market on Gateway Boulevard and Whyte
Our New Digs not only boasts capacity for 100 guests, they are offering a selection of tasty beverages and food items.
Each month, one of our Host organizations, presents 2 speakers to enlighten and engage. This month's Green Drinks is presented to you by the Edmonton River Valley Conservation Coalition.
Kayleen Falkenstein
Kayleen is a Conservation Coordinator with the Edmonton and Area Land Trust (EALT).
As a conservation coordinator for EALT, Kayleen sits in the catbirds seat for understanding conservation initiatives in Edmonton. She can tell us about tree planting, Bird Friendly City initiatives, all initiatives that help the flora and fauna of YEG.
Kayleen has the opportunity to manage, steward, and monitor EALT's natural areas within 150 km of Edmonton- including, some that are within or very close to Edmonton's river valley system. Kayleen is excited to share with you, a variety of ways in which you can connect to nature, support conservation in our region, and begin stewarding the land in your backyard and beyond!
Katrina Hillier
Katrina is the Founder of Earth Warrior Lifestyle's. EWL asks where are we going and how do we want to get there. Perhaps by slowing down fast fashion and charting sustainability road maps.
She is an avid nature lover, trash picker-upper, tree planter, mountain biker, and adventure seeker. When not working on Earth Warrior, she spends every spare moment exploring the outdoors.
