Hosted by Frankie van Kan (A Body at Work, Club Briefs, Baby Got Back, After Hours) Stripped Queer will make you rethink what it means to witness performers at their most naked, literally and figuratively. Four queer artists will be reading their own writing and published queer literature, wearing absolutely nothing. Exploring radical vulnerability through the body and the written word, Stripped Queer invites you discover what it means to stand in front of an audience and bare your soul, as well as your body.

Frankie van Kan is an interdisciplinary queer artist working with live performance, the written word and dance. Writer, sex worker and parent living in Naarm, she is devoted to spreading the gospel of pleasure through her work both onstage and off. Her practice explores the liberation of the female body, sex/uality, and queerness.

⚡Tiny Fest is a 3-day performance art festival, featuring durational, interactive and experimental work from local and international artists who take risks, push boundaries, and break new ground.
Designed to give you an immersive, concentrated hit of performance art, Tiny Fest is a celebration of the real, raw & radical. Come with us as this year we transform Tūranga Library into a platform for the next wave of performance makers and audiences in Ōtautahi.
