What to expect with a Shamanic Breathwork Ceremony?
Shamanic Breathwork is a combination of conscious, connected breathing, body and energy work, and a powerful chakra-attuned music journey. Designed to guide you into an altered state of consciousness and deep transformation, this allows you to tap into your inner wisdom and connect with your true self.
Upon arrival, you will be smudged and welcomed into the space, and invited to place a personal treasure on the elemental altar. After introductions and a short guided meditation to settle in to our bodies, we begin the continuous breathing technique, alongside powerful chakra-activating music. Throughout this process you may find yourself on a profound journey of self-discovery; uncovering patterns and energies that have you stuck, receiving powerful insights and releasing trapped emotions, and dancing with dragons in mythical worlds.
Upon the closure of the Breathwork journey and your return to the physical world, you will be invited to partake in the art integration aspect of the ceremony. This is where you are given time to draw or express your experience, and then share with the group if you feel called to do so.
During a Shamanic Breathwork journey, you may access parts of your subconscious and activate energy in your body that has potentially been stuck or suppressed. This can, at times, result in an emotional release which may come through as crying, screaming, loud laughter or perhaps physical movement (with permission, the facilitator may incorporate bodywork to help you move these energies or emotions).
This is an invitation to embrace the totality of what it means to be human, and express, in a safe space, the full range of emotions that may arise. Coming into a session with no expectations and full acceptance of all that arises is recommended to get the most out of your experience.
Breathwork offers several physiological benefits. Firstly, it enhances oxygen to the body's cells, improving cellular function and energy production. Secondly, deep and controlled breathing can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress hormones and promoting relaxation. Thirdly, breathwork can improve lung function and respiratory efficiency. Lastly, it can enhance cardiovascular health by regulating blood pressure, reducing the heart rate, and improving circulation.
Awaken your senses, release stress and anxiety, and move towards your full potential by embracing your inner healer. Spaces for this Shamanic Breathwork ceremony are limited, and we invite you to sign up now below to secure your spot. We look forward to journeying with you.
