About this Event
This program is for TVCC clients between the ages of 8 and 18 yrs (21 if they are still in highschool) with physical disabilties.
Clients must be able to safely and independently particpate in the water. During this program we will work on low impact cardio, strength/resistance training and flexiblity in the water.
The purpose of this program is to support physical activity and fitness goals for clients while utilizing and exploring a new aquatic modality.
About the TVCC Therapeutic Pool:
- The TVCC pool is 61m/24ft long, 12ft wide with a shallow end of 0.79m/2.5ft, sloping to 1.05m/3.5ft; there is a step down to 1.19m/4ft.
- The pool is 34C/93F.
- There are no food/drinks allowed in the pool area, pool change rooms, or pool washrooms.
