Strengths-First: Building a Business That Runs on What You Do Best
About this Event
This 45-minute workshop teaches entrepreneurs how to build their business around what they naturally do best, using the Clifton Strengths framework. No prior knowledge or assessment is needed to attend. Participants will:
• Get a plain-language answer to “What is Clifton Strengths, and why should a business owner care?” — no jargon assumed.
• Learn the four strengths domains (Executing, Influencing, Relationship Building, Strategic Thinking) and see how each shows up in everyday business tasks like sales, ops, delivery, and planning.
• Walk through a live example of how one founder's natural talents shaped their business model, offers, and daily decisions.
• Run a short self-reflection exercise to surface their own patterns — no completed assessment required.
• Leave with one concrete action to try in their business this week.
Three Key Learning Outcomes:
- Recognize the four Clifton Strengths domains and how they show up in daily business tasks.
- Tell which parts of their business play to a strength versus which ones they're forcing.
- Leave with one specific change to make in their business that week.
