This year's half-day fall workshop will help boost skills while diminishing negative thoughts as we look to strengthen our conversations. Our sessions will include:Communicating Assertively: This session is designed to equip participants with the skills needed to communicate clearly and effectively while acknowledging and respecting others' perspectives. Participants will learn strategies to address conflicts with confidence and maintain emotional control, fostering a positive and productive workplace environment.
Exploring the 8 Dimensions of Wellness: Explore the 8 dimensions of wellness to reflect upon and improve overall health and well-being. In addition to exploring each dimension, consider which behaviors are—or aren’t—serving you well and helping you realize your potential. Gather takeaways that can be applied to improve today, as well as set habits in motion that will support healthy aging in the future.
Tackling Imposter Syndrome: In this session, you will gain an understanding of imposter syndrome and its contributing factors. You'll explore strategies to overcome negative thinking, develop inclusive relationships with internal and external customers, and practice giving feedback and speaking up to enhance confidence and demonstrate expertise in professional settings.
Cost to attend is $30 for CICA members and $35 for non-members. The deadline to reserve your spot is November 7, 2024.
