Strength Inspires - APF/AAPF Bench Charity Meet

“Strength Inspires” is a bench press only charity meet that will benefit the Get on Track Illinois (GOT) is a 501(c)(3) Illinois-based nonprofit organization that motivates technology-addicted youth and adolescents to disconnect from electronic devices and embrace a healthier lifestyle through movement, nutrition, and personal development. All direct donations and proceeds from the event benefit individuals participating in GOT health and wellness programming.

In addition to entering the contest, we are asking each lifter to set-up an individual fundraising account on GiveLively.org with a goal of raising a minimum of $100. Lifters will be emailed instructions on how to set-up an individual fundraising page once registration is completed.

Lifting Session: Saturday, April 26, 2025 @ 4:00 p.m. Rules Meeting 3:00 p.m.

Sanction/Rules: Sanctioned by the APF/AAPF. Check www.worldpowerliftingcongress.com for information and rulebook. For the Raw division, only a belt and wrist wraps are allowed. One piece lifting suit required for all lifters on all lifts.

Weigh-ins: Friday, April 25 - 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 26 - 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

--> All weigh-ins will take place at Lombard Strength & Fitness

Eligibility: Open to all APF/AAPF members. Lifters can purchase / renew a membership online at www.worldpowerliftingcongress.com. Memberships will not be sold at the weigh-ins / at the meet site.

Entry Fee: The entry fee is $80 for bench. Lifters wanting to enter multiple divisions will need to pay a $50 crossover fee per each additional division. NO REFUNDS.

Meet T-Shirts: Official meet t-shirts are available for pre-order for $30 - include with entry form and mark size(s) - only limited numbers of t-shirts will be available at the meet.

Deadline: The entry deadline is April 7, 2024

- Late entries, if any are accepted, will be charged a $20 late fee.

- No late entries will be accepted at the weigh-ins or the day of the meet.

Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 fundraisers.

Men: 114, 123, 132, 148, 165, 181, 198, 220, 242, 275, 308, SHW

Women: 97, 105, 114, 123, 132, 148, 165, 181, 198, 220, 242, UNL

Sanctions: APF & AAPF (drug tested)

Equipment: Raw, Equipped, & Unlimited

Divisions: Teen 13-15, 16-17, 18-19, Junior 20-23, Open, Submaster 33-39, Master 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 75-79, 80+
