Join Us for a Community Planting Day at Stredwick Reserve!
Saturday 13 June | 10am - 12pm | 36 Caversham Drive Torbay
Come along for a rewarding hands-on morning of native tree planting at Stredwick Reserve! We're planting native trees and plants to enhance this beautiful reserve and support local wildlife. It's a great way to connect with nature, meet your community, and make a real difference.
Everyone is welcome—bring your family and friends. No experience needed, and all tools will be provided.
Since 2022, Restore Hibiscus and Bays has been working with volunteers and the Long Bay Chinese Association to restore this special site. Through regular monthly volunteer days, we’ve planted 2,000 trees, cleared invasive weeds, and improved the habitat along the stream and pond. This planting day will build on our ongoing efforts in this reserve.
What to bring:
Gardening gloves
A clean spade if you have one
Water & snacks,
Sturdy shoes or boots and clothes suitable for the weather.
Meeting point: Meet at the entrance next to 36 Caversham Dr, Torbay
