Stream Stewardship at William T Davis Refuge

Join the Freshkills Park Alliance and Amazon in a stream stewardship day! We will be removing trash, debris, and invasives from the freshwater streams of William T Davis Refuge.

Gear: Wear sturdy, closed toe-shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy. Wear clothes that can get dirty. Long pants, boots, or waders are highly recommended. Please also bring water and a snack!

Technology: Feel free to take photos but consider carefully before bringing any electronic devices with you as they may possibly get wet, damaged, or dropped during the project.

Restrictions: You will be asked to sign an activity waiver before participating in the program. Please be aware that this clean up site location consists of slightly uneven terrain.
