Orientation sessions start promptly at 10 am, any latecomers will be requested to attend the next session to follow up with things they might have missed in the training prior. Thank you! Come join us to learn how we keep the shelter running as smoothly as it does! We are scheduling these monthly orientation and training sessions to help introduce individuals and families that would like to help the shelter by walking dogs, feeding shifts, cleaning shift, and giving some time in their day to help socialize the animals. This orientation gives you the in depth information you need to help us as a volunteer up at the shelter. We understand that time might be tight, which is why we created this event to help you decide how you might want to help, and which shifts might be best for you! We have so many different things that we do up there that are always needing another set of hands to help with! This week it's cleaning up the yard and making it look welcoming to visitors, next week it might be pulling out and steam cleaning all the cat trees. There's always something up here to do, and when we're finished, loving on the pets is the absolute greatest reward for a job well done! Please consider joining us.
