Please see below for the dates of Strawberry Line working parties on the Westbury – Easton stretch of path this winter as well as the other sections within our branch. There is lots to do managing vegetation and preventing encroachment. We will also have a new section of path to look after and the need for some interesting work building headwalls from sandbags.
No special skills are required but a pair of gardening gloves and long sleeved clothing are always useful. The location will always be announced nearer to the time. If you can’t make the dates but want to work on your own at another time do get in touch & we can fix something up.
An early reminder that the first work party for the Westbury - Easton Group will be on Sunday 12th, probably on the new section east of the Easton village hall. If we have enough people we’d like to try to move the big stone slab near the new pond to make a bench / barrier - I reckon 4 of us could lift it with ropes.

We do also work closely in partnership with a local Sustrans Rangers group who cover between Yatton and Winscombe if you wish to be a bit wider in your scope.
