Summer starts with strawberry shortcake in downtown Kokomo. 🍓☀️The Kokomo Strawberry Festival returns Friday, June 5, bringing thousands of people downtown for one giant day of food, shopping, music, art, family fun, and community celebration.
Festivalgoers can explore hundreds of vendor booths featuring handmade goods, boutiques, art, home decor, jewelry, gifts, specialty foods, and more. Food vendors from across the region will serve everything from wood-fired pizza and BBQ to lemon shake-ups, donuts, shaved ice, boba tea, Greek food, and festival favorites.
And of course, the star of the show returns:
The famous strawberry shortcake piled high with fresh strawberries, locally made shortcake, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream.
Families will find plenty to do throughout the festival with TWO designated kids activity areas featuring bounce houses, face painting, games, hands-on activities, emergency vehicles, giveaways, and more.
Live entertainment and music will take place throughout downtown all day long, while the Artsapalooza Art Market showcases talented artists and makers from around the region.
Festival admission is FREE.
