The Strathmore Jazz Orchestra brings together the best jazz musicians in the country, including members of the premiere DC military jazz ensembles, top local talent from the Washington DC area, and players from the New York jazz scene.
Led by music director and arranger Daniel Jamieson, the big band is joined by Grammy-nominated Latin jazz clarinetist and saxophonist Anat Cohen, and tenor saxophonist and vocalist Camille Thurman, second place winner of the Sarah Vaughn Vocal Competition and current member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra in an evening of big band brilliance.
