On Thursday, July 9, Tom, Prestin, and Zaiden Strassenburg were driving home when they were struck by a drunk driver. The crash left both Prestin and Zaiden with critical injuries. Tragically, Prestin passed away on July 10, and after fighting courageously for several days, Zaiden sadly passed away on July 15.
To make matters even more devastating, the driver responsible was uninsured, leaving the family to face overwhelming medical expenses, funeral costs for both boys, and countless other financial burdens during an already heartbreaking time.
To help ease some of this burden, we are hosting a community fundraiser on Sunday, September 13, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Embassy Suites Convention Center in La Vista, Nebraska. The event will feature a silent auction, raffle, and other fundraising activities, with all proceeds going directly to the Strassenburg family.
Thank you for the continued support and for coming together to support a family enduring an unimaginable loss.
