Strasburg Christmas Parade and Downtown Activities
Saturday, December 5, 2026 · 4:30–5:30 PM
King Street, Downtown Strasburg
Floats, walking units, and holiday lights will fill King Street for Strasburg’s annual Christmas Parade. The route begins at Capon and King Streets and continues to Massanutten Street. The parade will take place rain or shine.
Make a day of it downtown! Shop and eat at local businesses, visit the community holiday markets at Star in the Valley Winery and Strasburg Christian Church, and enjoy a downtown cocoa and mocktail stroll. Interested in participating in the stroll? Email [email protected]
After the parade, join us for the tree lighting at Strasburg Town Hall. Then settle in on the Square for a screening of How the Grinch Stole Christmas at approximately 6:15 PM.
The parade and festivities are free and family-friendly, so bring the whole crew!
Want to be in the parade? Businesses and organizations can register an entry through the Shenandoah County Chamber by December 4. For questions, email [email protected].
If interstate traffic requires a route change, the parade will move to Queen Street.
