Another Amazing Speaker!
Hello Sea Turtle family!
Join us this month as we welcome Jen Reilly from the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Jen is the Senior Biologist at Loggerhead Marinelife Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sea turtle conservation and research. She oversees the Center's morning survey program on one of the world's most significant nesting beaches for leatherback, loggerhead, and green sea turtles, focusing on climate change, habitat conservation, and human impacts. Inspired by her first sea turtle nesting experience during an internship in Hawaii, Jen earned a Master's degree in Marine Conservation and Policy before joining Loggerhead Marinelife Center, where she has advanced from a seasonal nesting field technician to a research leadership role. Passionate about accessibility and inclusion, she founded the Center's pioneering ASL-guided education programs in 2018 and helped establish the Deaf Internship Program in 2021, expanding opportunities for Deaf communities and students to engage in marine conservation through accessible, hands-on learning experiences.
