Attention all parents, grandparents, and caregivers. Please join us for the grand opening of our StoryWalk.What is a StoryWalk?
A StoryWalk is a children’s story that is posted along a walking trail for kids and their parents to read and do activities as they walk. Each page of the book is laminated and displayed along the trail.
Who can attend?
Anyone with a child that likes to listen and/or read stories.
Where is it located?
The StoryWalk begins at Bullitt Park past the tennis courts on the Green Belt Trail. The StoryWalk ends at Frog Level Park.
When will a new story be available?
New stories will be posted every two to three months. Please follow the C. Bascom Slemp Memorial Library’s Facebook page for new story updates.
Can't make it to the grand opening?
No worries! The Storywalk can be visited anytime during the day. Please visit at your convenience.
