About the Author:
Kenneth Kraegel is a self-taught illustrator and the creator of picture books (from board books to beginning chapter books). His books have won awards from the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Kirkus Reviews, The New York Public Library, The Chicago Public Library, the Parent's Choice Foundation, the Bank Street College of Education, the International Literacy Association, Amazon, and the Junior Library Guild. He grew up in Mishawaka, Indiana and now lives in Grand Rapids Michigan with his family.
