About the Author:
Amy Dua is the author and illustrator of the children’s book series Woe is Me…The Seasons. As a mother of four, and an attorney with decades of experience working as a legal advocate for children in Michigan, Amy has always had a gift for supporting, educating, and entertaining children. Her latest work showcases this with fun facts and eye-catching illustrations of animals, insects, and humans preparing for the coming season.
Amy grew up in Buffalo, New York, and now lives and works in East Lansing, Michigan, with her children and husband, who are her biggest supporters.
When she is not writing or illustrating her books, she can be found reading, teaching, or traveling the world with her family.
About Our Community Partner:
The Ingham Great Start Collaborative (GSC) is a coalition of human service agencies, families, and community partners dedicated to ensuring that every child from birth through age eight in Ingham County has access to a universal, comprehensive, and coordinated system of early childhood programs, services, and supports. Working collaboratively, the GSC aims to build a strong foundation for young children and their families by promoting high-quality, community-based resources that meet local needs. This work is made possible through funding from the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP).
