There are five simple practices to get children ready to read: talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing. Welcome to Family Storytime, a program that encourages the development of pre-reading skills through songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and stories. Length of program is 15-20 minutes plus art/craft and early literacy activities themed to unearth a story.
