About the Author & Theo Thursday
As a professional "people watcher" and organizational culture consultant at D. Whitney Consulting, Deb Urbanik has always been fascinated by the "invisible threads" that connect us. When she isn't wearing her CEO hat, she is embracing her favorite role: Grandma.
In 2023, the arrival of her first grandson, Theo, inspired Deb to reprioritize her busy schedule. She began dedicated "Theo Thursdays"—days filled with play, exploration, and helping Mama and Dada. What started as a simple Christmas photo book to document their year of fun soon blossomed into her debut children’s book, Theo Thursday.
Written with a gentle rhythm and rhyme, Theo Thursday celebrates the quiet, joyful moments shared between caregivers and little ones. Deb hopes her story reminds families of the magic waiting to be discovered in even the most "ordinary" days.
