Storytime and Art Activities for Kids at the Bowers Museum

Join us for a fun-filled morning of imagination and creativity with best-selling, award-winning children’s author Derek Taylor Kent, as he brings his hilarious picture book The Leaning Tower of Pizza to life in an interactive storytime that kids and parents will love!

The first 35 families to RSVP will receive a free signed copy of the book, and the first 35 guests to arrive will get free General Admission to the Bowers Museum galleries!

After the reading, kids will dive into a hands-on art activity inspired by the story — simple, engaging, and designed to spark their creative spirit.

The Leaning Tower of Pizza is a laugh-out-loud adventure that follows a diverse group of kids as they share their hilariously misheard versions of famous landmarks. It's a joyful celebration of travel, curiosity, and cultural discovery.
