Join artist Raquel Montero Calero and unleash your creativity, whilst creating a special bond with your child through the magic of physical theatre and imagery. Raquel speaks many languages and we look forward to hearing which languages you can speak. Each session is different but connected to an overall theme. Come to as many workshops as you like!
Mother Tongues’ Language Explorer workshops provide a unique creative experience for parents and their children based on storytelling, play, visual arts and music. While the workshops will be guided in English, we encourage families to embrace their home languages. This fosters meaningful connections between parents and children, creating a truly inclusive environment. Meet and connect with other like-minded families and share your language journey!
Please remember that children must be under the supervision of an accompanying adult throughout the workshops.
Activities have been specifically designed for children aged 3 to 6. However, if you have an older child who wishes to participate, they are more than welcome (please book a place for them too). For children younger than 2.5 years, the activities might be too complex, but they are also welcome to accompany their older siblings. No need to reserve a spot for younger accompanying children.
