Eddie Ahn is the Author and Artist of "Advocate," the national bestseller graphic memoir published by Penguin Random House. Recognized as a Washington Post and American Library Association Best Graphic Novel of the Year, "Advocate" is a moving graphic memoir about Eddie's work as an environmental justice lawyer serving diverse communities while grappling with family expectations and burnout. As a nonprofit lawyer and executive director, Eddie leads Brightline Defense, an environmental justice nonprofit based in San Francisco, and he also serves as a commissioner for three local and state government agencies related to environmental policymaking. As of 2026, Eddie has completed over 101 events across San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Sacramento, and New York - and he returns to Boston for a lively night of conversation about the year ahead.
