Monday, June 22 7:30pm, Irving Park United Methodist Church, Sanctuary
The Timpanogos Storytelling Festival “as sweet as a Georgia peach and spicy as jambalaya…as effervescent as a double Red Bull.” For the past thirty-two years, Carol has performed as Rosie the Riveter at the Little White House in Warm Springs, Georgia, and at other locations throughout the state and Southeast. As Rosie, Carol dons overalls, work boots, and the iconic head scarf to tell the true stories of women workers on the home front during World War II. Carol Cain is from a big family and a small
town (Hogansville, Georgia), both of which give her plenty to talk about!
