Rachel's story is a narrative style historical fictional saga dating from 1892 to 1991. In the course of Rachel's life she is plagued with all types of problems for which there are no easy solutions. Her world is intertwined with other characters who have also survived major adversities. Rachel's will to survive and her love of nature sees her through the love and losses in her life. Rachel possessed a true pioneer spirit.
